Who Will Benefit:
This intervention plan is designed for students who are currently attending school or are already developing language and social skills but require additional intensive support to keep up with their peers.
How It Works:
Since this program is for school-going children, this restricts the amount of time for which a student can attend. We offer two options- Daily Intensive Language Program (2:30 p.m. t0 4:30 p.m.) or the Extended Language Program (2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.).
Goals:
Due to the limited time limit of this program, the number and type of goals must be carefully selected. Ideally, students who are a part of this program will be receiving their academic teaching in their respective schools. This program will focus solely and intensively on language comprehension and communication skills, since progress in school and social skills are all dependent on language skills. The interests of the students and parental requirements will be prioritised.
Format:
Teaching is on a 1:1 basis. We use interactive, play-based teaching methods, creating opportunities for each child to learn in a natural environment. Once a positive learning environment is established, we will adopt a structured, table-top approach.
